Description
This program redistributes a significant portion of Oregon's recreational marijuana tax revenue to the Drug Treatment and Recovery Services Fund. The funds are primarily used for operating new Behavioral Health Resource Networks (BHRNs) to expand access to treatment and recovery services. The Behavioral Health Division also uses this revenue for community mental health, community substance use disorder services, alcohol and drug abuse, early intervention, and treatment services. The funding amounts are subject to annual increases based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
