Description
CORE A ABSTRACT – ADMIN CORE The Administrative Core (Admin Core) of the proposal program aims to provide a critical foundation for integrating goals and objectives across all projects and cores. It ensures the free exchange of communication, data, and samples between research projects and cores, facilitated through various meetings and a dedicated Microsoft Teams page. The program comprises three research projects, three cores (Admin, Bioinformatics & Immunology, and Animal Model), and three advisory boards. The Admin Core, led by Dr. Ainslie, managed by Ms. Kirsten Leysieffer and with data manager Ms. Allie Lopez, facilitates interactions to achieve the overall goal of developing biomaterial platforms to enhance CAR-T/NK cells immunotherapy for glioblastoma treatment. The Admin Core focuses on four aims: Administration and Fiscal Management, Communication Management, Scientific Oversight and Data Sharing, and Biostatistical Support. The first aim involves day-to-day oversight of research financials and compliance. The second aim is to manage scheduling, minutes, and meetings for the program. The third aim is to oversee the flow of data and information, manage reagents and intellectual property matters, and ensure the sharing of program outcomes. The fourth aim provides biostatistical support to integrate data across projects and cores, develop computational approaches, and offer standard and advanced biostatistical support. Bahjat Qaqish will serve as Co-investigator and biostatistician for the program and will be part of the Admin Core. The Admin Core is committed to providing critical support and organization to enable the proposed science.
