Description
The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) grants are a federal pass-through program administered by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF). The program provides funding to communities and organizations to reduce their vulnerability to wildfire. Projects typically focus on hazardous fuel reduction, restoring fire-adapted ecosystems, fire mitigation work, and developing Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs). Applicants are generally required to contact their local ODF field office to apply.
