Travel: Participant Support for the 18th International Heat Transfer Conference (IHTC-18)

The 18th International Heat Transfer Conference (IHTC-18) is the flagship international meeting in the field of heat transfer. The conference will be held August 2-7, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The meeting, held every four years, brings together researchers from universities, industry, and government laboratories. Conference topics include conduction, convection, radiation, multiphase flows, micro- and nanoscale heat transfer, energy systems, computational methods, thermal management technologies, and related areas. Heat transfer is key to energy systems, chip cooling, space travel, and advanced manufacturing. Therefore, U.S. participation in the IHTC-18 is important for national interests. This award will provide partial travel support for students, early-career researchers, and professionals to attend, present their work, and meet the global research community.
