The State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) is a federal program reauthorized by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021, administered by the U.S. Treasury and implemented in Nebraska by the Department of Economic Development (DED). The program strengthens state programs that support private financing for small businesses. Nebraska's SSBCI is delivered through two subprograms: the Nebraska Growth Loan Fund (NGLF), a loan participation program, and the Nebraska Seed and Development Fund (NSDF), an equity capital direct investment program.
