This is a non-competitive matching grant program administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to support Illinois-based small businesses that have received a federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I award. The program provides up to $75,000 in state funds to help recipients complete their Phase I work, accelerate commercialization, and prepare a competitive Phase II proposal to the federal agency.
