The National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) is a federal pass-through program administered by the State of Ohio to increase and preserve the supply of decent, safe, and sanitary affordable rental housing for extremely low- and very low-income households, including homeless families. Funds are allocated through OHFA's Housing Development Assistance Program (HDAP), primarily via the Bond Gap Financing (BGF) and Housing Development Gap Financing (HDGF) programs.
