Description
The Microenterprise Assistance Program, administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), is designed to encourage and support the transfer of Nebraska-based technology and innovation in rural and urban areas to create high-growth, high-technology businesses and enhance job creation. The program consists of two components: Micro-Lending and Micro-Technical Assistance. Funds are awarded as grants to eligible 501(c)(3), (c)(4), or (c)(6) non-profit organizations to establish Revolving Loan Funds and provide technical assistance to micro-enterprises.
