The Local Innovation and Fast Track (LIFT) Homeownership Program provides 0% interest, deferred loans to organizations for the development of affordable homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income families. Funds can be used for new construction or conversion of existing non-housing structures. The program requires the use of a shared equity model (e.g., community land trust, condo, or leasehold) to ensure long-term affordability and aligns with the Statewide Housing Plan's focus on Rural Communities, Homeownership, and Equity and Racial Justice.
