Description
The Immediate Opportunity Fund (IOF) is a discretionary program managed by the Oregon Department of Transportation to support economic development by funding roadway improvements. Its primary purpose is to provide funds quickly to influence business location, relocation, or retention in Oregon, especially when other funding sources have been exhausted. The program is funded by motor vehicle gas-taxes and has $5 million available per biennium, disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
