Description
The Home Illinois Program (HIP) initiative addresses homelessness among individuals returning from incarceration. These funds are not limited for use in homelessness prevention, emergency and transitional housing, rapid rehousing, as well as outreach, related services and supports for individuals at risk of experiencing homelessness. Programs aim to provide housing and supportive services to returning citizens, accompanied by an evaluation component to assess outcomes and program impact.
