Florida DEP Small Community Wastewater Construction Grants Program (SCWCG)

The Small Community Wastewater Construction Grants (SCWCG) Program assists small communities (municipality, county or authority with a total population of 10,000 or less, and a per capita income less than the state average) in planning, designing, and constructing wastewater management facilities. The grant is a component of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan, where the grant percentage (70%, 80%, or 90% of the loan amount) is determined by the sponsor's affordability index. All projects must receive a CWSRF loan to receive these grant funds. Priority is given to projects addressing public health risks and those included in a Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP).
