Description
The Low-Scored Site Initiative (LSSI) is a voluntary program authorized by Florida Statute 376.3071(12)(b) to provide limited funding for the assessment and remediation of eligible petroleum discharges at low-scored sites (scored 29 points or less). The goal is to bring these sites to closure via a Site Rehabilitation Completion Order, LSSI No Further Action, or conditional closure. Funding is limited to $35,000 for assessment and an additional $35,000 for limited remediation per site.
