Description

The Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHA) provides state-level funds, allocated annually to Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and other providers, to assist low or very-low income persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. EHA funds are used by these organizations for a variety of purposes including emergency shelter and transitional housing operations, case management, financial assistance, facility rehabilitation, and system strengthening.
