Conference: New Methods in Evolution Partial Differential Equations
U.S. National Science FoundationDescription
This project supports participation of early-career researchers from institutions in the United States in the conference "New Methods in Evolution Partial Differential Equations" held July 20-22, 2026 at Princeton University. This meeting has been designated as an official satellite event of the 2026 International Congress of Mathematicians. The scientific program, which consists of 14 plenary lectures and a session of short presentations and posters by other participants, highlights recent breakthroughs in fluid dynamics, statistical mechanics, and kinetic theory. By bringing together a group of leading experts and promising early-career mathematicians, the event fosters new collaborations and disseminates cutting-edge techniques in Analysis. Additional information about the conference is available at https://web.math.princeton.edu/~aionescu/ICMSatellite.html. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
