Description
The Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG) Program is a federal grant, funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and administered in Oregon by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF). It provides funding to communities and Tribes to develop or revise Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) and implement mitigation activities identified in those plans to reduce wildfire risk and implement the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy. Priority is given to projects in high-hazard, low-income, or disaster-impacted communities.
