Affordable Home Ownership Development Program

The Affordable Home Ownership Development Program (AHOD) is a grant program administered by the New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC). It provides grants to governmental, not-for-profit, and charitable organizations to subsidize the cost of newly constructed houses and the renovation of existing housing for low- and moderate-income families. The program''s goals are to promote homeownership and stimulate the development, stabilization, and preservation of New York communities. Grants are not made directly to individuals.
