The Department of Health, Bureau of Public Health Laboratories (BPHL), New born Screening Unit has the need to purchase reagents, controls, calibrators, consumables, and services for the FDA approved CAPILLARS 3 DBS automated analyzer, in order to test for qualitative screening for the detection of normal hemoglobin and abnormal hemoglobin using dry blood from human new-born, simultaneously. These components speed up dry blood sample testing and improve accuracy for early screening of genetic and inheritable disorders in newborns, ensuring the reliable results needed for immediate clinical intervention. In accordance with Chapter 60A-1.045, F.A.C. The Florida Department of Health, (BPHL), Newborn screening unit requests authorization to purchase as a single source, reagents, controls, calibrators, services, and consumables a from Sebia Inc.
