Award notice to inform industry that a sold source award was made under authority 41 U.S.C 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). This award is a Firm Fixed Price, and was not awarded competitively. The rationale for the non-competitive award is the program office and Contracting Officer did market research and decided that the best option was a HUBZone set aside, and with the urgent nature of the request, there was not a reasonable expectation that offers would have been received from two or more HUBZone small business concerns. Please note the this information is consistent with the Contract Action Report (CAR) at FPDS, and will be made public. In accordance with FAR 5.301(d)(3), this notification is being issued to provide the redacted Justification for this effort.
